Mill House

We were contacted by the owner of this property as it was becoming tired and in need of repair. The owners wanted to inject a new lease of life into it, moving the access from first floor to a new ground floor entrance lobby. The rear balcony was extended and refurbished to make full use of the views of the marshland behind. The provision of a new sunroom under the extended balcony accessed through the study area again making full use of the properties location.

Cranbourne

It took the owner of this large detached property just nine months to completely gut the interior of this house, add a large 3 car garage to the side and a large single storey rear extension as well as converting the existing stable block into a gym, sauna, bar and pool room. The house has a large kitchen/family room, lounge, study, cinema room and snug, and 4 en-suite bathrooms upstairs.

Glen Darvel

This former guest house has been returned to a single dwelling with a seperate 2 bed flat that is now sub let to former guests. The interior was totally transformed, with the ground floor receiving the bulk of the work. New underfloor heating to the kitchen and lounge meant digging up the old concrete floors and re-laying with a new insulated concrete slab, which now makes the kitchen nice and cosy, especially with the new brick fireplace.

Bottoms Farm

Having battled with the planners we finally got approval for this barn conversion. The dwelling is split between the old barn and the adjoining outbuidings and provides a large ensuite bedroom with walk in wardrobe to the first floor of the barn with the remaining rooms spread over the ground floor including 3 bedrooms, kitchen, utility, lounge and office.

Kitchen Extension

The client contacted us to create additional livng space to the ground floor. We added a single storey rear and side extension and re-configured the internal layout to provide a new kitchen, dining and family room with a new utility off the kitchen.

House extension in Fulwood Conservation area

Recently finished is this kitchen/dining room extension to a house in the Fulwood conservation area. After several proposals, most of which were traditional looking, the client decided on this contemporary proposal. We think it sits well against the traditional looking Victorian house.
